SEC’s New Proposed Rule Sign-On Results

Since the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commision (SEC) produced their proposed rules for The Enhancement and Standardization of Climate-Related Disclosures for Investors ASBN has been asking its members to submit comments to the SEC to show their support. We had a webinar with SEC’s Director Renee Jones where she was able to explain the rules and answer questions that people had on the proposed rules. ASBN opened their own sign-on letter to allow easier submissions from our members and to provide any support that may be needed. Through this sign-on alone we were able to reach over 385 sign-ons that were then sent to the SEC. Read ASBN’s official comment that we submitted to the SEC.
