ASBN Celebrates Diversity on the Supreme Court of the U.S.

Washington, DC – The American Sustainable Business Network (ASBN) today issued the following statement regarding the Senate confirmation of Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to serve as the next Justice on the Supreme Court.  

Diversity of perspective is the lifeline of improved understanding and problem solving across society, including in business, and brings strength and resilience to our economy. Judge Jackson’s diverse professional experiences and as a Black woman in the U.S. as well as strong breadth of experience in the legal field are of immeasurable value to a Court that has historically not reflected the diversity of the population it serves. With Judge Jackson’s addition to the Court that stands to improve. It has long been ASBN’s position that a fully participatory and representative democracy is the backbone of a vibrant and strong economy.
