Racial Equity and Justice
Biden’s Administration has emphasized the important of racial justice through their executive order on advancing racial equity, calling for a systemic approach to advancing equity. Of special importance is the order to do assessments across agencies in order to best service historically underserved communities. These assessments will aid in the allocation of resources in these communities, in order to advance fairness and opportunity.
The American Sustainable Business Network has worked to promote racial justice and equity across all campaigns, specifically through the work of the Race and Equity Working Group. The working group launched a campaign called “Business Confronts Racism”, in order to implement solutions and work to address institutional racism.
