Frank Knapp is ASBN’s Director of Business for Democracy.  He served on ASBN’s Board of Directors from 2011 – 2022.  He is also president and CEO of the 5000+ member South Carolina Small Business Chamber of Commerce, which he co-founded in 2000.  Under his leadership his organization has made South Carolina more small business friendly with fair taxation, affordable health insurance, and utility policy favorable to renewable energy.  Mr. Knapp has also led ASBN’s efforts on protecting needed federal regulations, promoting access to capital for entrepreneurs in underserved communities, and opposition to offshore oil exploration and drilling.  Frank earned a master’s degree in social psychology from the University of South Carolina and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
