Before joining No Labels, Liz worked at the Library of Congress, serving as Chief of Staff to the Librarian of Congress Dr. Carla Hayden (2016-2018). Liz served as liaison to Dr. Hayden during the nomination process and oversaw her transition as the 14th Librarian of Congress. Prior to that, she served as Confidential Assistant and Special Assistant to the Librarian of Congress Dr. James Billington (2013-2015) and Acting Librarian of Congress David Mao (2015-2016). Liz held a variety of positions at the Washington Speakers Bureau (2006-2012) including speaking agent and aide to the former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice. Liz began her career in Washington as an historian at The History Factory, a Chantilly, VA, firm that offers archival management, corporate archives storytelling, history publications, museum and exhibition design and digital archiving services. She has a Bachelor of Arts in History from the College of William and Mary.
