SUMMARY:Regenerative Agriculture Steering Committee
DESCRIPTION:Remembering Denise BowyerBoard Secretary  ·  Advocate  ·  Friend It is with profound sadness that the American Sustainable Business Network and our affiliates\, American Sustainable Business Institute & Council\, share the news of the passing of our beloved Board Secretary\, Denise Bowyer\, on March 10\, 2026. Denise was far more than a board member. Over more than ten years of dedicated service to ASBI & ASBC\, she was a steadfast champion of our mission — a bridge-builder between the worlds of business and labor who brought wisdom\, warmth\, and unwavering conviction to everything she touched. Her distinguished career with American Income Life\, where she served as National Vice President of Public Relations and Secretary of the National Labor Advisory Board\, gave her a singular understanding of the relationship between workers and the businesses that depend on them. She carried that understanding into every conversation\, every meeting\, and every initiative she led with us. In recent years\, Denise turned her considerable energy toward protecting immigrant communities — a cause she pursued with the same fierce devotion she brought to everything else. She led by example. ASBN\, ASBI & ASBC Co-Founder and President David Levine reflected: “Denise has truly been a cherished friend and warrior leading with love. She has served on our boards for over 10 years. Her insights and efforts have long helped us build our understanding and put into action the advancement of our high road work. In hard times for our organizations\, Denise was always there to help protect and advance our work\, leading with her amazing strength and heart.” We are grateful for every year she walked alongside us and honored to have been part of her life’s work. Our deepest condolences go to Denise’s family\, friends\, and all who were fortunate enough to know her. \n \n ### \n \n About American Sustainable Business NetworkAmerican Sustainable Business Network (ASBN) amplifies the collective voice of sustainable business to lead the way to a regenerative economy that is stakeholder-driven\, just\, and prosperous.
