Denise was far more than a board member. Over more than ten years of dedicated service to ASBI & ASBC\, she was a steadfast champion of our mission — a bridge-builder between the worlds of business and labor who brought wisdom\, warmth\, and unwavering conviction to everything she touched. Her distinguished career with American Income Life\, where she served as National Vice President of Public Relations and Secretary of the National Labor Advisory Board\, gave her a singular understanding of the relationship between workers and the businesses that depend on them. She carried that understanding into every conversation\, every meeting\, and every initiative she led with us. In recent years\, Denise turned her considerable energy toward protecting immigrant communities — a cause she pursued with the same fierce devotion she brought to everything else. She led by example.
