While chemical innovation has driven tremendous technological progress, it has too often caused unintended harm. This Declaration lays out a vision for a new, sustainable approach—designing chemicals and processes that are inherently safe, resource-efficient, and regenerative; applying systems thinking and life-cycle perspectives; and ensuring transparency, accountability, and equitable access to chemical knowledge.
