Read MoreAmerican Sustainable Business Network (ASBN) is leading the charge for stronger clean air protections, ensuring environmental responsibility drives economic growth. Through the Solutions for Pollution initiative, we urged the White House to implement federal protections that cut pollution by 50% by 2030, advance environmental justice, and accelerate the clean energy transition. Our Carbon advocacy includes Business Case for Methane Emissions Reductions and the Business Case for Carbon Labeling, demonstrating the economic benefits of environmental regulations. These studies show that sustainable practices create jobs, drive innovation, and unlock long-term value.
We’ve also testified before congressional committees, commented on vital regulations, and supported efforts to advance the clean energy transition. Our advocacy proves that environmental protection and economic growth can go hand in hand, helping build a sustainable, thriving future for businesses, communities, and the planet.
Congressman Roger Williams (TX-25), Chairman of the House Committee on Small Business, gaveled in a full committee hearing titled “Burdensome Regulations: Examining the Impact of EPA Regulations on Main Street.”

Though it made historic investments in climate and clean energy, the Inflation Reduction Act won’t get us all the way to America’s ultimate climate pollution reduction goals. That’s why ASBN and dozens of our partners have joined the Climate Action Campaign’s “Solutions for Pollution” project. It calls on the White House to carry out its responsibilities under the Clean Air Act and other bedrock environmental laws and advance approximately 20 protections across federal agencies that will cut pollution over 50% by 2030, advance public health and environmental justice goals, accelerate the clean energy transition, and create new economic opportunities. ASBN made a lot of progress with this project during the last administration, however, the future is uncertain. That’s why the voice of business is more important to lead on this issue than ever before.
