Giving Tuesday: Powering the Sustainable Business Voice Together

As we near the end of another year defined by both challenge and progress, one thing remains clear: our economy is only as strong as the values that shape it.

And across the country, the American Sustainable Business Network (ASBN) members are proving that business can be a force for good in democracy, policy, and community. This Giving Tuesday, we’re inviting you to stand with us, shoulder to shoulder, and invest in our collective future — a just, regenerative economy that centers people, planet, and shared prosperity.

Your Support Fuels the Future of Responsible Business

We know what needs to be done, and we won’t stop until we get there. From shaping climate and energy policy to defending inclusive workplaces and fair access to capital, ASBN is making sure that the sustainable business voice is not just in the room, but leading the conversation. And the work of leading advocacy efforts, equipping sustainable business leaders with tools to make change, and mobilizing a national network of values-driven entrepreneurs depends on your support.

  • When you give to ASBN, your support keeps that momentum going. You’re helping to:
  • Represent business priorities in federal and state policy discussions that shape the future of the economy.
  • Train and equip BIPOC and women-owned small businesses with the tools to advocate for change.
  • Fund campaigns on climate, clean water, and a circular economy that protect communities and drive innovation.
  • Support legal advocacy to defend inclusive, equitable practices in the workplace.
  • Respond in real time to legislative moments that require a strong, coordinated business voice.

Every contribution goes directly into the work that matters to you:

  • $200 – Funds a coordinated sign-on campaign connecting local and national leaders
  • $500 – Goes towards 24/7 policy-tracking tools that keep us informed on current activities in Washington.
  • $1,000 – Covers 10 Advocacy 101 trainings for BIPOC and women-owned small businesses.
  • $1,500 – Helps a small business owner tell their story and prep before speaking to the media or House committee.
  • $2,000 – Supports an amicus brief to defend inclusive workplace practices and other defensive strategies playing through our courts.
  • $5,000 – Underwrites a key policy area: Small Business & Local Economies, Clean Water, Safer Chemicals & Circular Economy, Climate, or Regenerative Agriculture.

Why Giving Tuesday Matters for Businesses

This is the time to show up. ASBN stands with responsibility, sustainability, and inclusivity as the real foundation of prosperity. Our collective work is about redefining what it means to be pro-business in America and ensuring that responsibility, sustainability, and inclusivity are embedded in the policies that shape our shared future.

Let’s Build the Future of Sustainable Business Together

Our community is already proving what’s possible. Because of sustainable business leaders like you, we’ve raised $19,000 toward our $30,000 goal. And with Giving Tuesday (December 2) just ahead, we have the chance to cross the finish line together.

This is a critical moment. The midterms are on the horizon, the stakes are high in this fight for our democracy, and the responsible business voice needs to be louder than ever.

Together, we’re building a just economy that puts people and the planet at the center of every decision.
