Fortunately, purpose-driven companies – B corps, PBCs and the like – are used to some of the complexities of doing good for the world while also making a profit. At this session, the leaders of three government contractors that are also certified B corporations (Fors Marsh,Rescue Agency,TCG)will walk you through the pluses and minuses of government work and will try to answer all your questions. Member Event ASBN Follow up meeting for Defining Sustainable Chemistry for White House Office of Science and Technology

ASBN is continuing it work to convene our members and allies to craft our recommendations that we will send to the White House Office of Science and Technology (OSTP)

On April 4, 2022 the White House Office of Science and Technology (OSTP) published in the Federal Register a Notice of Request for Information (RFI) from the Public on Federal Programs and Activities in Support of Sustainable Chemistry. ASBN sees Sustainable Chemistry as an essential element in our efforts to create a just and sustainable economy. We intend to comment to OSTP in support of a definition for Sustainable Chemistry that embraces safe chemicals, just and equitable distribution of benefits from production and use of chemicals, just and equitable remediation of past harms, and sourcing of chemical raw materials from regenerative systems.
